Contemporary Wushu and Traditional Wushu Welcomed!

$10 USD per video submission. You can enter both divisions.

Videos are due September 15, 2023 at 11:59pm EST.

Division 1 -- The Influencers

• Record your full routine in a vertical format.

• You can edit your video as much as you want.

• Music needs to be added after recording your routine.

• You cannot use recordings from past competitions nor past performances.

• State your name in the beginning of the video before you start your routine. 

• Submit your video in the Google Drive location (see the registration form)

• Judges will use B scoring (performance score).

• The Top 40% will win Wushu Live Shirts.

• The overall winner will be interviewed on Wushu Live and more!

Division 2 -- The Purists

• Record your full routine in a horizontal format.

• Music must be playing in the background loud enough for judges to hear. You will be judged on how well your routine fits with your chosen music. 

• One shot, one recording is allowed. Record the video from the view of a judge sitting in the center of a front table.

• No editing allowed. Retakes are allowed. 

• State your name and salute in at the beginning of your video.

• Wear a proper wushu competition outfit

• Do not use videos from past competitions. Do not use videos from past performances. 

• Submit your video in the Google Drive location (see the registration form)

• For Contemporary Wushu routines, judging will be based on A scoring (quality of movement) and B scoring (performance score).

• For Traditonal Wushu routines, judging will be based on B score (performance score).

• Divisons will be based on a variety of things such as age, gender, style, location, level. 

• Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be given out for each division.

• The athlete with the highest overall score will be interviewed on Wushu Live and more prizes!
